The route feels less dangerous than the Snakes Pass, but it is still hard going in poor weather. The North York Moors route came in 10th place, just sneaking into the list at the end. There is an option to make a bit of a loop, however, that takes you a little on busy road. I read into it, and the consensus I got was, that the loop isn’t that great.
