I didn't, I kept an eye on things and checked the clearance by eye and feel and found only the front exhaust rod to be tight against the tube, removed and cut down that tube by 1/4 inch, the rest felt fine. But in their directions it says go 4 turns. @32 tpi 4 turns = .120 into the lifter not the .100 thats generally recommended and is what is recommended in the S&S video. So having already tried the 20 flats last time, this time I went 4 flats.
