WebMay 28, 2024 · I have a M4A88T-M motherboard with a Phenom AMD processor and NVIDIA Quadro600 PCIe card. I installed thermald, lmsensors, fancontrol, and Xsensors and Psensors so I can get a graphical reading of my fan speeds and temps. I have added to /etc/default/grub. acpi_enforce_resources=lax to get pwm to run but it didn't work. They don't seam to understand what I am telling them to do. They always start spinning around 55c and that creates vibrations on the chassis of the card. I have a 590 black edition from XFX. If it only has 3 then you'll need to change the fan type in the bios (not all fan headers support this fyi so read your manual and find out which ones do) from PWM to DC.
