I had an Invidia N1 street with a Cobb downpipe on my '06 WRX, but that had way too much drone after a while. Before that I had a Cobb catback with a downpipe and that was good for long trips but a little quiet the rest of the time. For either the Cobb Stage 1 map or the Cob Stage 1+ SF Intake map, you'll have the option for 91 octane tune, or a 93 octane tune. The 93 will give you the most gains, but you cannot use anything less than 93.

You will need to extend the hangers to drop it down a little, and extend the pipe about 3" to get the tip out from under the bumper.
