WebFeb 16, 2024 · Here we present wide-band timing of 35 ms pulsars observed with the UWL by the PPTA using PulsePortraiture (Pennucci et al. 2014, 2016 ). This is the first time such analysis is performed on observations gathered by a single ultra–wide-bandwidth receiver with instantaneous fractional bandwidth of approximately 6:1. WebMar 27, 2024 · Additionally, there are emerging PTAs, such as the Chinese Pulsar Timing Array (CPTA) project and the South African-based MeerTIME project. Each project uses one or more radio telescopes (of a variety of sizes) to observe millisecond pulsars across a range of radio frequencies. In Australia, the Parkes radio telescope is used.

WebFeb 22, 2024 · Such an effect would be observable in the form of periodic variations in the arrival times of radio pulses from highly stable millisecond pulsars. In this study, we search for evidence of ultralight dark photon dark matter (DPDM) using 14-year high-precision observations of 26 pulsars collected with the Parkes Pulsar Timing Array. WebThis is a major goal of the Parkes Pulsar Timing Array (PPTA) project (Hobbs, 2005; Manchester, 2006), which aims to observe 20 millisecond pulsars with a timing precision close to 100 ns over more than five years. Many phenomena can affect the pulse arrival times at this level of timing precision.
