WebMay 5, 2010 · (I think the comfort milk helped coz he had colic) Now the doctor had given him som baby gaviscon sachets to put in his milk but when i read the leaflet it said dont use with milk with thickening agents, which im sure comfort milk has in. So now I dont know wot to do, should i change back to a 1st milk and see if the gaviscon workswith that or not.
WebSep 28, 2015 · She is my third all followed a similar pattern and all had gaviscon and omoprazole together so think it is fairly common to use both. I know the gaviscon works as a thickener helping milk to stay down and omoprazole to limit stomach acid production. I know Infacol has an active medical ingredient but gripe water is just natural ingredients. Gripe water can only be used after one month.
