Remove the points base plate & the tower screws to expose your advance unit. Remove the bolt that holds the advance unit & remove. check the unit for defects & clean.. WebOct 4, 2011 · 454 Posts. Im hearing they make the bike run like crap, harder to tune, harder to start, etc. On the other hand Im hearing there great, bike starts better, easier to tune, etc. So Im not sure what the hell to believe!
