Jun 13, 2015. #1. hello. i just asus ux501. i think the laptop is overheating.my CPU temperatures go as high as 87 degree just after 10min of use (with a hard surface like a glass table)...my cpu throttles down from its 2.5-3.3ghz speed to just 1.4ghz and at times 800mhz...i think my GPU is okay though im not sure about the gpu. …
